In the heart of the Umbrian countryside between Città della Pieve (10 km) and Lake Trasimeno, "Il casale Le Vie Bianche" enjoys a private location, scenic and quiet but at the same time a short distance, and is a perfect base for visit the main towns and cities of Umbria, as the same town of Pieve where you can admire masterpieces of Perugino, and also enjoy beautiful walks in its narrow streets and enjoy the fine cuisine of its restaurants.
E 'can also visit some beautiful places in Tuscany (Cortona, Siena, Montepulciano and the area of the Val d'Orcia, with the known villages of Pienza and Montalcino, but also San Casciano dei Bagni, beautiful spa town).
If you prefer to enjoy the tranquility of the place, the house is located in an estate of 35 acres of woods and olive groves, crossed by trails and picnic spots, where you can walk immersed in an enchanting and unspoilt, with beautiful views of the surrounding hills.
The house is a typical country house in stone built between 1850 and 1860, owned by our family since 1963. The renovations have kept the structure typical of the farmhouses of that time, the interior with exposed beams, original terracotta floors, and period furnishings make the house very romantic and cozy.
The garden (1 acre) is completely fenced. In front of the house there is a porch well equipped with a large dining table, and a foosball table for entertaining games. Alongside an old oven in stone, In the garden there are games for children (swing and balance), a rustic table for lunch in the shade, and various corners with comfortable seating where you can relax.
The pool was derived from a pre-existing tank, is not large but very cozy, and is exposed to the west, so it is sunny throughout the day, and you can enjoy magnificent sunsets. Pool size: (9 x 2.5-5 mt; prof 1.60 to 0.80 mt).
Our farmhouse is ideal for wonderful walks with your dogs. Why are we special? Because there is no limit to the number of dogs we accommodate! All our dogs have grown up and spent happy days here: Whisky, a setter abandoned by hunters because he was frightened by gunshots, arrived in the early 70s, then Barry and Mila, two haughty and very sweet German shepherds, at Le Vie Bianche they "raised" at least 4 litters. Then Duse, White Fang, Pupi, Bitta. Now they all watch over us from the 'heavenly meadows'.
